The Mother Elnora Johnson Visionary Award was established in the year 2000.
Having migrated to the North in the early part of the 1900’s, Elnora recognized that love of God, hard work, and education would be the means to a fulfilling life for her children.
To achieve this end, Elnora took an active role in the life of her church and Community.
Ever diligent about investing in the future, recipients of the Mother Johnson
Visionary Award have gone on to be professional and productive members in this fast-paced, techno-driven society.
